Privacy Policy
StayOnDose ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information in the StayOnDose iOS application.
SUMMARY
StayOnDose requires an account to sync your medication reminders and logs across devices. Your email is stored with Supabase Auth. Medication and adherence data sync to Supabase PostgreSQL (hosted cloud database, encrypted in transit via HTTPS). A local cache on your device keeps data available when offline. We do not sell your health data. You can delete your account and all cloud data in Settings.
ACCOUNT INFORMATION
- Email address — stored with Supabase Auth for sign-in and account recovery
- Optional display name — stored in your profile for personalization
HEALTH & MEDICATION DATA
- Medication names, doses, schedules, and adherence logs you enter
- Dose events and as-needed (PRN) logs
- App preferences (reminder settings, snooze duration, refill alerts)
- Subscription status (managed by Apple; entitlement synced to your profile)
This data is health-related. We use it only to provide reminders, tracking, and sync. We do not use it for advertising.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To provide medication reminders and adherence tracking
- To sync your data securely to your account (Supabase)
- To cache data locally on your device for offline access
- To schedule optional local dose and refill reminders on your device
- To generate reports you choose to export or share
- To manage your subscription through Apple's App Store (handled by Apple)
DATA STORAGE
- Cloud — Supabase (PostgreSQL) stores your profile, medications, dose events, and logs, protected by row-level security tied to your account
- Device — Application Support directory caches a JSON snapshot for offline use
- Keychain — Auth tokens stored securely on device
DATA SHARING
We do not sell or rent your personal or health data. When you use Share or Export, you choose where data goes (e.g., Mail, Messages, AirDrop). StayOnDose does not automatically share your medication list with third parties.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable reminders, StayOnDose schedules notifications locally on your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework. Notification content includes medication names you entered. We do not send your medication data to Apple or to our servers for reminders. You can disable reminders in Settings or iOS System Settings.
THIRD PARTIES
- Supabase — authentication and cloud database (supabase.com privacy policy applies)
- Apple App Store — subscription billing (Apple's privacy policy applies)
We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
APP STORE PRIVACY LABEL
Declare in App Store Connect:
- Health & Fitness — medication names, schedules, adherence (linked to account)
- Contact Info — email (linked to account)
- Not used for tracking; not sold to third parties
YOUR RIGHTS
- Delete your account and all cloud data in Settings → Delete account
- Sign out to clear local session; delete the app to remove the on-device cache

CHILDREN
StayOnDose is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
CHANGES
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in-app before new data practices take effect.
